Pouring the Foundation Walls

So the day finally came where we were able to pour our foundation walls and really get an idea of what this house will look like.  They were calling for a chance of rain, and while there was plenty of humidity in the air, the rain held off, luckily all day long.

There was a bit more concrete than was originally intended, but 16 loads later, they were finished pouring and done by noon.  Of course when you begin your day at 6am....you deserve a break by noon!

A day later we were able to start seeing the finished product.

We were pretty excited to finally see the walls of our house.
